Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a global platform on Ethereum that enables decentralized ownership of usernames, websites, and wallets that links to Ethereum addresses. ENS launched back in May 2017 and has grown exponentially since then.
Domains can be any length and can be alpha, numerical, emoji, or a combo of all of these. Domains can be registered for any duration and start at 0.003E per year for >5 characters and increase to 0.406E per year for 3 characters. Domains can be linked and managed by other domains, transferred, and subdomains can be added.
