As a write this, Russia has just declared a military operation in Ukraine and has begun to invade. People are terrified and all markets are tanking as oil rockets. Firstly, my heart goes out to all my fellow Ukrainians. I was born there and all my extended family still lives there. My aunt and cousins are currently terrified in their basements as they listen to missiles, planes, and war-era alarms sound off. The terror they are living through must be disturbing and is completely unwarranted. The world must come together to shut down Russia’s incessant and unrelenting obsession to reunite the Soviet Union and rule as an autocratic communist regime.

Pivoting to markets, chaos brings opportunity. Stocks and crypto have been selling off for several months now, mostly driven by planned Fed rate hikes to battle inflation. Historically, these types of conflicts have been buying opportunities. This event could be the catalyst that reverses the Fed’s policy and swings sentiment back in favour of tech (crypto included). For long-term investors, this could be a great buying opportunity. Usually, it’s the moment when we face maximum FUD that markets turn. Currently, the sentiment is similar to mid-March 2020 when the future looked bleak as COVID terror was omnipresent.

Currently, my top investment ideas are CloneX, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Terra Luna, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and WonderLand Money. CloneX mooned the day after I posted the investment idea and had a massive month. Clones pumped as high as 20 ETH floor and Vials as high as 40 ETH. I plan to HODL and remain bullish on web3 assets (crypto & NFTs) and this could be a good opportunity to open positions in tech stocks.
